The Beetle Launches in India

Before there was a Nano, there was the Beetle, and now it is here. The original “people’s car” was the Volkswagen Beetle that became synonymous with freedom, the sixties and the “drop out” hippy culture. Now it is India – overpriced and nowhere near teh original vision of a cheap affordable car – but still an Icon of the automobile 110 year history.
